My dear mentor, supervisor and friend,

A man full of knowledge, wisdom and above all, the fear of the Lord. You walked with us sacrificially like your own. You went out of your way and moved mountains for us to get the best of opportunities and attain higher milestones. I will always remember how you went out of your way to link me up with job opportunities. I remember vividly calling you on a Sunday, in need of an urgent recommendation letter to submit a job application, and indeed you wrote me one and scanned it for me. You were always concerned to know how we were doing in our personal lives, children's milestones, family, transitions. You gave your best during lectures, and always started them off with devotion, then with mind-teasing images "What do you see?" to challenge our analytical skills.

The news of your demise have saddened all of us who crossed your paths. Memories of the sacrifices you did for us will linger on, till we meet again. We rest assured that you are at a better place, and that God's peace, strength and comfort will prevail in your family and the entire daystar fraternity.
