Sondra Lou "Sam" Strickland was a beautiful and compassionate woman. She was a true leader in her family and completely respected by all those who knew her. Her dedication and love for her family and friends was complete and unwavering. She possessed a moral and ethical character greater than I have ever seen. Never would she cast a stone or pass judgment. Never would she show anything but love and forgiveness. And as a consequence , God saw that even heaven would be improved by her presence there and called her to his side. 

As her family , we will endeavor in the following pages to illustrate just who she was and how lasting an impact she had on each one of us. In doing this we will revive the memories not the tears. She is well now and happy beyond any earthly measure. We must never forget who she was and what she stood for. We must never forget the lessons we learned from her. Its these very memories that we all should use to keep our compass straight. To aid in our new endeavor to one day soon be together with our Sam again.
