Passed away on January 23, 2021 in Riverside, California, United States
This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Sonia Pasillas, 68 years old, born on September 22, 1952, and passed away on January 23, 2021. We will remember her forever.
Sonia Pasillias was a beautiful soul. My Mother in Law was taken way too soon. She was the Mother I never had. Although we had a communication barrier we always understood each other perfectly. She always gave unconditionally to whomever. She was full of love and light! I pray to Christ she's filled with light and love. I prayed she'd be free of thieves, users and abusers, trials and tribulations of this world. Her body returns to ashes as she's crossed over to perfection of Everlasting life with the resurrection of the body. Sonia is flying high on the wings of Angels in all glory! She has no more pain or troubles we face on earth!
☆Sonia says, "I love you all, I forgive and I pray for each of you. Celebrate my life and accomplishments. Embrace and love one another. Burn a candle in remembrance of me and the good times we'd shared. Don't feel sad for me, be happy! I'm here...young, healthy and in the glory of Christ! Celebrate my life! Smile, love and dance! ☆
Fail to imagine those that have crossed over are actually right there looking over you! All things are possible with God. If so ....this is what Sonia says to her family and friends!
Celebrate her amazing un-wasted life of successes!
I will truly miss my mom, She showed me what you have in life can always be better if you want it work hard at it. Nothing is handed to you or any goals you want do not let any thing beat you at achieving them. She showed me how to cook, I was named after her dad, Which I am honored to have that name. I gave her heart break as a child but gave her laughter as an adult. She was a great mentor.. She cared about everyone.. always with her shop she tried to help everyone. This one of a kind woman will be missed. irreplaceable. One of a kind. I love her so much and miss her with all my heart and soul.
My beautiful aunt.. had a kind heart. She had the biggest smile when she would get happy or excited. She was an extraordinary woman with talent. She worked very hard in her bridal shop and made sure to please the bride and groom on there big day. My aunt was never stingy, on the contrary she offered anyone a bite to eat and was always ready to lend a hand. She was a very giving person who loved her family. My aunt was full of love and kindness. She demonstrated strength and determination in every aspect of her life. My aunt was beautiful and I will truly miss her and her smile.
My condolences from the bottom of my heart to one of my closest friends Juan Diaz. I’ve known you and your family for over 20 yrs. Your mom was one of the most loving, and caring ladies that I have ever met. She was like a mom to me and treated my family with love. She even did most of my families weddings. She was a beautiful person and will truly be missed. My condolences to you Juan and your sisters Marta, Margarita and Sonia and the rest of her family.
Much love and respect, Daniel Fernandez and family

Our beloved mother, Sonia, has gone home to the Lord. She was an
amazing, strong woman. She came to this country with a dream in her
heart and becoming an American Citizen was one of her greatest
accomplishments. She accomplished so much in her life. She had a
contagious smile and a love for life. She raised four children while
creating a successful business. Her bridal shop of over 30 years,
Sonia's Bridal, was more than just a business, it was her passion.
She loved music and dancing. She was a dancer at young age and
continued through most of her life. She was the kindest soul and
would help everyone and anyone. She is survived by her four children,
Marta Diaz-Brosmer and her husband Travis, Juan Diaz and his wife Christie, Sonia Diaz & Margarita Diaz. She
has 9 grandchildren; River, Alaric, Juan Jr., David, Anthony, Esai,
Natilia, Maximo & Mattias. She will be truly missed by her family
and friends. Her unconditional love can never be replaced.
