A Great Answer
Once upon a time - 1958 to be precise - the folklorist Sam Eskin held a party in his house. One of the guests was Sonia Malkine. During the usual hub-bub of conversation, someone who knew Sonia persuaded her to sing a song. She started singing the ancient and delicate "Robin", a somewhat unlikely choice for such a noisy place. Suddenly, there was dead quiet; everyone was listening intently to this pure voice. Sam rushed up to her, and asked, "Where do you sing?", expecting the names of festivals, coffee houses, etc.
Her answer was both truthful and memorable: "I sing in the shower, I sing in the kitchen doing dishes, and I sing to my children."
The rest is history.
