My sweet Sonia,

All I know for sure, is it must be so beautiful where you are, because you're so beautiful inside & out. After 4 years, I know how stylish you were, so your wings must be so full & totally gorgeous by now, helping to carry you and your many loved ones-wherever you want to go. Fly free my friend; free of any pain we feel here...Love always, Robin xoxo

Son, We're buying a new boat and every time Mitch and I go out on her I will be reminded of ALL the MANY, MANY AWESOME times we had hanging out, sunbathing, swimming, eating and drinking and thinking we'd be young and live forever. Just like there are SOOOO many songs that bring back memories of you, and the places we went, and the people we both knew and would dish about.Forever etched into my heart, my spirit and my memories, my friend!. Until we meet again, may every day be like a happy birthday for you.<3 XOXO!

I woke up at 5:30 am and couldn't go back to sleep. When I realized the date, I knew why. It was your 50th birthday 'if' you had lived. The fact that you didn't leaves a vast emptiness In my heart & my life.So many times I 've wanted to pick up the phone to call you and share good news or bad but then I reminded myself again yourgone,so I speak to you in my mind or out loud. I love& miss u

Shared by Donna Miles on May 6, 2010

this is my story- she taught me  to say "ciao bella" her funeral was april 25th i joined the local church that day in her honor-which i was trying to do for 3years- once i left church on my way home  i looked up and saw a columbus ohio plate that said "CIAO BELLA" to me it was like she was speaking directly to me because she already had told me  just a week earlier that she would my angel watching over me!! What a testimony to the power of jesus and love she actually communicated with me on her going home day im still in awe of her awsome presence!!!! I love you my friend!!!

Dear Sonia,
The times you got discouraged, the times you were really feeling down.
Those times were to be expected. You just needed your friends around.

You couldn’t always just dwell on your illness, or worry all night and day.... See More
You needed smiles and laughter, and then you really seemed to be okay.

You knew how many loved you and how we all needed you in our lives.
But you had to let go and let God, who ultimately decides who survives.

You had always been a fighter, someone I admire and will always adore.
You lived life to the fullest, even when your body fought the cancer war.

Your doctors used their weapons one by one, trying to keep you from dying.
You tried to concentrate on living; not ready for morbid thoughts and crying.

I knew you must have been very frightened. I knew the chemo made you weak.
You had hopes of how it would cure you, and made it your mantra, so to speak.

You had so much more to feel, and more to do, on this our beautiful planet Earth.
Like traveling the world, being loved and appreciated, and living for all it’s worth.

When you died, everyone knew about it, even the many who had gone on before.
I’m sure your friends, loved ones, and your Dad were fighting to give you a tour.

Now you’re at peace in heaven. No more “ beast” or more pain to suffer through.
For me and the others you had to leave behind, nothing is the same without you!

I will always love and miss you Son!

Love forever,
Barbara

We little knew that morning that

God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,

in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

but you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you,

the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories,

your love is still our guide.

And though we cannot see you,

you are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken

and nothing seems the same.

But as God calls us one by one,

the chain will link again.
