To my dear son. 10 years have now past and I have such a hard time to remember that my Soldier is not here for me to hug. I know God is taking good care of you. Looking forward to the day I can see your face and see your silly smile. I love you so much and we miss you more than we can say. I still remember that phone call. I screamed so loud that I think all of Franklin County could hear me. I love you my precious Soldier son. Spc. John A. Lee Jr. You are loved by many. Till I can hold you again. Love, your Mom XXXOOO

To my dear son. I miss you more than ever. 9 years and the 19th was so hard for Dad Missy and me. I know that you are at peace now and that I will see you again when the Lord takes my hand. I love you and am always so proud of you. Love, Your Mom XXXOOO
My dear son, I love and miss you with all my heart. I think of you every single day. Things I see, songs I hear that you loved and even smells remind me of you. You will never be forgotten by your family and friends. I was always so very proud of you. I think of the day you graduated. I was standing in the window seeing all the soldiers to see if I could see you so far. You called me on cell and said Mom I know that is you because what other Mom would stand there so long to see her son. I love you so much. Love, Your Mom XXXOOO
General George S. Patton once said "The boundaries of a nation are marked by the graves of it's soldiers." Indeed, it is not the politician that has made our country great, but the brave men and woman who have answered the call to duty. They answered, not because they had to, but because they felt an obligation and possessed a deep sense of honor and conviction. Although this brave man has been taken from us, he will forever be a part of us, and is alive forevermore with his lord, where one bright day he and his loved ones will be reunited forever. God bless SPC John A Lee, Jr., a true hero that has not only set an example for others to follow, but has raised the bar. His service reflects credit upon himself, and the United States armed forces.
I listened to this beautiful harp with my eyes closed and made me think of Johnny and his wonderful family who loved him dearly. My brothers and I knew him and loved him too....They tell me the story of Johnny killing his first deer with them and how excited he was. We pray for his peace and for his family not to suffer ,but to celebrate his memories
Dear John, I am so glad I got to know you and have you part of my family for a little while, and you will never be forgotten, every time I look at Zachary I am reminded of you for he looks just like you. R.I.P. my friend.

I am very sorry to learn today of the loss of John Lee Jr. I had only met John 4 or 5 times here at my Range where John was enjoying shooting with us at the Copperas Cove Pistol club. John was a patriot, quick to make friends and easy to take a liking to. We will miss him. Please accept my sympathy for your loss. Take comfort in knowing John is at his post watching over us all.
