I have so many memories of us.  I guess I’ll start with the first time I walked into 10th grade office training.  I sat write next to you and Jen. You looked over at me and said “Hey, I’m Staria” and I said “hey, I’m Julie” I knew in those first few moments that there was something special about you. We would laugh that class away almost everyday.  Mrs. G didn’t know what to do with us. Once she told us to stop laughing and I tried God knows we tried but I looked over at you as I was trying to hide my huge smile and you looked at me and I just lost it, we laughed so hard Mrs. G started laughing and she couldn’t stop.  Those were the good old days.  After graduation we still kept in contact. As we grew and I had my kids, you came over one October day, and you, me and my two girls carved pumpkins. You told them that you ate the seeds and they looked at you like you had two heads, you laughed and then showed them how to put them on a cookie sheet and put salt and pepper on them and baked them. After they came out of the oven everyone tried them and both kids spit there’s out on the floor and you just laughed, they said it tasted like salty cardboard. And from that October to every October we saved the pumpkin seeds for you. I will hold all of my memories of you close to my heart and will never forget how special you were and how much you ment to soooooo many people.

I love you Staira, untill me meet again my friend,

O Staria, I don't know where to start there are so many memories we've created over the years. We've had so much fun together my sista from anotha mista (as you say). We talked or text each other everyday for the past 20 yrs.  One of my favorites memories was when we were about 17. Me, you and Gina were going out with friends that night and we were at your apt. and you locked yourself out of the apt and left your money and keys inside. Now what do we do? So I decide to go out her hall way window onto the roof of the house...the whole time Staria is behind me say " your crazy girl, your crazy, don't do it"...but laughing her butt off the whole time...While Gina holds the window open for me (thanks Gina). So I climbed out on the roof and walked up against the building like a cat burgler till I got to Staria's apt window. I still don't know how no one called the cops on me, anyways I took my coat off ( yeah it was winter ) and wrapped it around my hand and broke each corner of the glass....I never forget how much that empressed Staria...she said " where did you learn that?"  I told her I watch TV..and we laughed our butts off again..I got into her apt and let her in the front door with Gina... and saved the night. We still talked about that night to this day. I've gotten that girl out of locked cars and fixed so much for her she always called me the portuguese macgyver, I'll miss hearing that so much.  Still can't believe I won't ever make a new memory with you. I love and miss you so much Staria xoxoxo...

Alway in my heart...love, Lucy
