Pat Overton  (a dear friend from Ft. Hunt Elementary days!) sent this picture, the "Ft. Hunters" often gathered (and STILL do!!) even after the teachers had scattered to places near and far. We were such good pals working for our wonderful principal, Eleanor Hollandsworth, and so many of us stayed close over the decades, even after leaving the profession for new pursuits or retirement! Here Stella and Pat mug for the camera at a "reunion" of some of the gang, we KNEW how to party!!!

Terra had invited Tiff O'Donnell , Mary van Zandt and me to Nantucket...we were walking on the beach and Terra perched herself on this dune..looking out, thinking her thoughts...this was one of her favorite pictures from our wonderful trip.
