Stellita. You are everywhere. I bring you along my everyday...

I thought I could celebrate your birthday last year in Singapore but it’s was not meant to be. Yesterday was your birthday & I was looking at the cake mould & recipe that I had wanted to bake for you… I’m thankful that I was able to get a chance to spend time with you during Christmas in the hospital & your last moments.

Today would have been our mother’s 75th birthday. Going through her old photos and documents, we are reminded of many past moments not only with her, but also with others in her life who are still in ours.

(Posted by Spencer on Auntie Annie's behalf)

I met Stella in the 70's when i worked for RB Offshore Drilling Co at Intl. Building, Orchard road. Stella had also just joined this new Co. From day 1, we both instantly connected & became best of pals!

Stella was a beautiful, talented, caring person & very smart! We developed a strong bond together & she with other colleagues as well.

Then when she moved over to Toronto in later years, we still got in touch & met whenever she was in town together with Eng Fong our close colleague as well.

When I holidayed in Toronto some years back, visiting my cousin who is a resident there, i connected w Stella again. She didn't waste any time driving me & family to her holiday bungalow for a night & we spent time with her before heading home. It was all so enjoyable with her. I was so looking forward to having her holiday here in Spore...

I was glad I got to visit her in the hospital when she was first admitted, and we had lovely chat despite her ailment. She sure comforted me instead!

Sadly she passed on last dearest Stella, you are painfully missed! I know she is no longer in pain and she is in the arms of our good Lord. May she rest in peace!

My heartfelt condolences to James, Spencer, Darrell & families..
Lots love & hugs,
Auntie Annie ❤❤

Dear Auntie Stella,
Always so welcoming of us, you made sure that Spencer's friends, no matter how eccentric, felt a part of the family. The breezy Shunfu home, scrumptious popiahs, chilly Toronto, balmy Palm Springs and your unbridled laughter. Thank you for all the wonderful memories. You will be missed.

You were noted for your gaiety and joie de vivre and for the energy with which you pursued enjoyment. You left us with a lasting impression of someone who lived life to the full despite your ill health. We will always remember your happy, bubbly and infectious personality, especially your laughter. You will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all of us.

Mi querida Stellita. No words can describe the friendship we had. We met in 2007, and it was through your artsy heart we connected at first...then life events made our friendship flourish. So many memories I keep in my heart, as well as all my family. I hug each and one of you, Spencer, Lisa and Aaron, Darrel and Cindy...from the deepest part of my heart. I cant say how much I will miss you...we crossed cultures, countries, memories...and yet, our true and sincere friendship grew every single time we met. Thank you for being in my life...

I will miss Stella very much. She was so much fun to be around and always had us laughing with her stories. Stella was like a mum to a few of us who are friends of Spencer, and would join us in luncheons/dinners. Stella, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers because every time I go into my living room, the Chinese Feng Shui Gods (Fuk, Luk and Sau) which you gave me are on my wall, and I will always think of you. Rest In Peace. You will be greatly missed!!

Stella was such a beautiful soul: Loving, accepting, kind, and welcoming. Her stories about her adventurous youth kept us entertained and amazed, and she told them with a mischievous smile that made me wish I had been on those journeys with her. We will miss her dearly, and will keep all her loving family members in our thoughts as they grieve the loss of this extraordinary woman.

Love you always. I will miss you.

Dear Stella, Your legacy will live on in my heart. We had some wonderful times together in our early days in London, in the times we spent together in Singapore and during your time in Palm Desert. Your friendship changed the path of my life and I am enriched by our shared experiences.

You were a gracious and dignified lady, warm and generous. On occasions when we needed help most, you were there to lend us a helping hand. Your thoughtfulness and kindness made you stand out in a crowd and we are blessed to have known you.

May you rest in peace.

Auntie Stella, I remember when I first met you in Seattle, you already treated me like a family member. Your gracefulness left a great impression. It’s unfortunate that I couldn’t get to know you more. You will be missed greatly by all of us!

Dear Stella tang :
  Stella tang

Aunty Stella... you brought joy, happiness and laughter to everyone who met you. Your selflessness and humbleness impacted many of us. We all love and sorely miss you. Eventually, I will be able to think of you without breaking down into tears... and I will be able to look at photos of you and smile and think of everyone on whom you had a positive and lasting impact.
