PA Stephen Adebeko was born on the 21st of June 1930 in ijebu ode to the family of PA Joseph Adenubi Adefarasin and Mrs Janet Abosede Adefarasin. He however lost his mum at age 11.He was brought up by his parents in the strictest and best traditions of the Anglican church while growing up on his father's farm.

Despite being in the then rural farm settlement in otta, his desire for western education did not wane. Inspire of challenges of lack of funds, he did not give up and thus continued his education through correspondence courses as was available in his time. He sat for and passed the London GCE exams and proceeded to take the professional exams for certification as a chartered secretary  and notary public. He worked in the federal audit department after being offered a job by the federal public service of Nigeria.

He later choose to team up with his elder brother in running of his pharmacy (Hamdala chemist)  in kaduna state.

He was a lover of God and worked in the church he worshipped in kaduna as a guild of steward. He was also a member of the Anglican Youth Fellowship in St Michaels Cathedral church Kaduna. He served as the secretary to the guild of stewards for thirteen years and chairman for eight years.

On retirement and after the kaduna sharia crises of year 2000,he relocated back to Lagos with his family in 2000 where he worshipped at All Saint's Church yaba.

His life was a constant testimony that with God, all things are possible.

Daddy finally succumbed to the will of God his father and creator as he was called to glory on the 16th day of August 2017 at the age of 87 and being survived by his wife, five children, six grandchildren, seven siblings.

My father as I knew him was a very peaceful man. An upright man who taught and raised us his children in the ways of the lord. Above all, he taught us contentment in all spheres of life. He is greatly missed, his smiles and above all his prayers. Continue to rest daddy in the bosom of your creator.
