the workshop!

my daddy nick name was grippy, why I have no idea but it fit him!  I remember going fishing with my dad, mommy would say, Steve dont let her go in the water, but soon after we got to the river, yup, Gayles in the river and catching bigger ones than daddy, we always had to stop at chubbys in town for a soda and bag of chips so that the kid could dry out, but the minute we walked through the door mommy knew I was in that river, but she never yelled, she just let us know that she knew and we didnt get away with nothing! than the times in the workshop, daddy had all kinds of stuff down there, and everything had a place too! no wonder I,m the way I,m ! grippys hardware store, and all kinds of neat stuff like the purple glass doorknob, and the metal shoe form from grandpas shoe repair shop, oh yea and dont forget the corn & walnuts we cleaned and got ready for the hand made bird feeded in the back yard that daddy made for the sqirels!opps! my memories go on forever, well I just was a spoiled one and loved every minute!
