My Brother Steve
April 18, 2020
Steve, My Big Brother: I
know it wasn't always easy growing up with little sisters, but having
you as my big brother meant the world to me. My cherished memories of you:
-Giving me your ice cream cone after my landed upside down on the sidewalk
-Teaching me to ride my bike without training wheels
-Waking
up Christmas morning to my most cherished gift - hand crafted by you - a
one-of a kind O'Hare single fin custom shaped surfboard with graphic from
heaven
-Letting
me experience cleaning out your car for $1.00 plus tips, and scoring an extra $20.00 in change from in and under the seats. It was like hitting the
jackpot!
-Teaching me how to be your personal office assistant while you were my on-duty babysitter
-Watching you run your surfboard business and seeing you enjoy the fruits of your labor
-Trusting me to drive your most cherished car, a Porsche 911 convertible, with the top down
-Your wonderful sense of humor, sarcastic laugh, kindness, and honesty
-Always looking out for me for my own good even when I was feeling independent
-I admired you for your perseverance and taking the
opportunity to enjoy the good times life offered you, even when much of it was very hard
-Watching you handle your life's journey with grace. I am proud to forever call you my Brother
