Feb. 12, 2012 , my life changed FOREVER. My sweet husband, Steve lost his battle to that demon we call cancer. He fought harder than anybody I have ever known, to stay here with his family and friends he loved so much. He was such a strong Man, NEVER complaining. The past three years has been a journey one is never ready for, but some how one seems to plug through it. I miss him so much, to have one more hour with him I would love , he will forever be in my heart. Today I choose to remember the memories and hold them tight..

Debbie, So very sorry for your HUGE loss. I remember Rome, Italy and giving Steve a ride (push) in the wheelchair down the walk of the coloseum. We started to worry as he started going too fast, we had to chase him to stop him and he never stopped laughing. Tender heart ... HUGE LOSS! You are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you, my dear friend.

Well Steve...we won't get to roll our eyes at each other when your loving wife won't let us get a word in edge wise. Thank you for the great conversations, insights, acceptance, love and your thoughtfulness. I know that you are in good hands. We will miss you. Linda

My late husband Ronnie, worked with Steve for many years @ AB but they real became soul brothers when the Masonic journey started in the late 80's. Steve followed Ronnie through the chairs & they became like Heckel & Jeckel while Debbie & I practiced patience & enjoyed the antics. Now they are together again & again Debbie & I have endured the monster - cancer. Be strong Sybil, I love u

We knew Steve for a brief few years while he was battling for his health.
Steve was a wonderful , caring man with a warm smile and wonderful personality. He welcomed us into his heart and his home and we were honored to have known him as a friend. He will remain in our hearts forever. We will meet again in the streets of Heaven. God Bless You Steve.

Loving this wonderful Husband of 33 years 10 months. He was the best provider, supporter, giver, spoiling me. I miss him so, having coffee, talking about our up coming day. Sharing our love for one another. Learning that " Marriage is not about the Romance, it is about the Healing and the Holding".......forever in my heart he will be

Cubs Game 6-24-2010

March 4, 2012

Steve and his friend Randy Perry went to the Steve's first Cubs game.... His Dad was a White Sox fan ( we never held that against him ) so Steve never was able to go to a Cubs Game.  Life got in the way, never happening until June 2010.  Randy made it happen , he arranged for Steve to go out on the field and meet the
Cubs   during batting practice and Lou Panela.  What a day they had, 13 innings and the CUBS WON.....
