My deepest sympathies go out to you on the very heart-wrenching loss of your beloved Sterling. This is a pain no one should have to experience, and I'm truly sorry that you had to.

Unfortunately, I never got to know Sterling well, but the first thing Carla said after telling me of his death was: "He was so funny, people loved being around him."

Everything I have since heard and read about Sterling prove that he was indeed a treasure to all, and undoubtedly made a good name for himself with Jehovah. We all look forward to the near future when Jehovah brings him back, totally healthy, to be reunited with you.

Until then, may Jehovah; the beautiful memories you have of him, and Christian brothers and friends help you cope one day at a time.

My heart is still swollen after hearing of Sterling’s death, I can’t begin to imagine what you are going through, please know that Our Grand God Jehovah the God of all comfort can and is willing to comfort you in your time of bereavement, I personally know this. With a heavy heart, we know you fought the fine fight to help your son endure as much as he did. Your family remains in our pleasant memories of serving shoulder to shoulder in Jehovah's service. My heart goes out to the family in this time of sorrow; Sterling was a very gentle, loving person who attended school with my daughter Ashlee. The last time that I saw him was a couple of years ago at Chilis Restaurant in Miami Lakes. Sterling will be great missed by all who knew him.
