My Uncle Stavros was always there for me as his oldest nephew at the time. For a good part of my childhood I did not have a father present but my Uncle Steve was always there for me as an "older brother."  He would keep me endlessly entertained with checkers, tell me stories and share jokes. He taught me to drive and gave me support at difficult times in my childhood and adolescent life. 
Steve was always a compassionate and loving man and I learned a great deal from him. The years have flown by so quickly but even at this late stage of my life he continues to inspire me and give me hope. Thank you Steve from the bottom of my heart, I learned so much from you
