His Life

The 80's and music

Cat Scratch Fever

Most people my age know that was the best time for rock n' roll bands and the 70's as well.

Back then we had cassettes and cassette players, CDs?? We had no idea. Pop a cassette in the stereo and listen to music. We even had vinyl records which are now making a come back. Damn, I should have kept that huge pile I had.

Well, Steve and Brian liked Ted Nugent or I forced them to listen to it. Whatever. They listend to Ted from infancy and on.

Cat Scratch Fever.............to them it was Cat Scratch Beaver!!! I told them no it wasn't and they insisted yes it was and I was wrong. This argument happened in the car and I was laughing so hard!

I just started this site so I will be adding pictures and stories of his life as I am able to. You can't imagine how difficult this will be to add to this site unless you have lost a child in this manner.

He did leave notes and a tape recording for us and Abrianna. So we do know why he took his own life. It offers some comfort. I know many other parents never know why their child took his/her own life. At least I know why he did what he did.

Feel free to email me through this site or those of you that have my direct email.

When we lived in Roseville for six years, the boys were 3 and 5. Well, my neighbor Donna Kincaid, who also cut their hair and did an excellent job. We both loved Billy Ray Cyrus. So we would both play the music, we lived next door to each other and we would blast his music. The title of this song fits today. Achy Breaky Heart.

Thank you for coming to see my son's memorial site.
