To Steve's Family and many Friends;
On this First year anniversary of Steve's passing, it's my hope and prayer that some of the great pain of loss has passed, and some healing has been able to take place. I can only speak from the historical re-enactor contingent, as that is where I knew Steve. I also knew that he was a consumate husband, father, and friend to so many.
Going forward can be a difficult thing after losing a loved one, but it's what we must do, to honor their memory... we can do no less. In going forward, Steve walks with us, and from a much better place shares with us our triumphs, and our sorrows, and all those other little things of life. Rest assured, he'll be laughing and crying along with us!
Steve will never be forgotten. As time passes, we'll recall more and more all those good things and great times rather than the not so good or great...and that's where Steve's memory will really shine!
To all who were touched by having Steve in their lives; be well, live well,
and do well. Steve's not as far away as we may think.
God Bless,
Kevin LaMarre
