My mate, my brother.
3 years have passed but there's hardly a day that goes by without a thought of you coming to mind, you were there for me when I needed a friend to put me straight or just when I needed an arm around the shoulder. I learnt more from you then I would have ever have given you credit for (as you head would have never got on the bus). For those of you that know me, know I don't do emotions but as I'm sitting here fighting back the tears and struggling to see what I'm typing all I keep thinking is you were taken from us far to early! We have all done our best to try and move forward over the last 3 years, which have been really tough I'm not going to lie but I hope we have done it in a way you would be proud of. I'm struggling to put my thoughts and emotions down on text so all I'm going to say is thanks mate, for everything you did for me and for the memories, you will be forever missed! And as it said on the back of my baggies shirt the down we laid you to rest, never 4 gotten!

I catch the 226 everyday and 3/4 buses I catch would be driven by Steve. We often had a chat about family and nonsense. He always had a smile on his face especially when his granddaughter was born. He loved to talk about her and how she breaks wind just like her grandad (lol). My 2 year old would always see the bus coming and ask if its Steve. He always went the extra mile for his passengers and he is deeply missed by many of them. I'm glad we all knew you Steve but sad you were taken when you had so much to live for. Safe journey Steve xxx
