Steve, even though we only knew you just under two years, you really touched our heart's and we were devastated and so very hurt to hear of your passing. We ask God WHY this could happen to such a nice, wonderful person but only he know the answer. We truly miss you. We just heard of your passing a week ago. May you RIP. Bette and James Field

My memory is long little brother. When we were little you annoyed me but I would defend you till the end. Even had a couple first fights until you got older. Then you grew into this amazing man who didn't really need his big sis so much, but we always stayed in touch. When Waylon was born you couldn't get enough of him. Stopping by on your way to and from work. You were such a good man, you loved with your whole heart and you gave to everyone. I'm so glad we had come back together and gotten so close ove the past year . You always checked on Waylon and me even after I got married. You a true brother to Dickie making sure ye was taking time to heal when he was sick. Always thing of others. I miss you so much Steve till I see you again little brother. I love you

Steve , i cannot begin to put into words just how much i love you and how great of a father you are and lovng man. i still don’t want to accept that my dad is now gone and i don’t have my best friend to call and ask silly questions and get advice . you taught me everything i know from driving to being a good person and to not take anyone’s shit. your huge smile and giddy laugh and sweet soul will love on through us all . i know you’re watching over everyone now and are being taken care of . till we meet again ... i love you so much

You were at every big event we have ever had... from our wedding to the birth of our kids...I will never forget when we got married... the pastor stuttered really bad... Tommy was able to look at my bridesmaids who were able to keep a straight face...I on the other hand had to look at YOU! I was doing everything in my power not to bust out laughing cuz of the faces u were making at me! U always knew how to make us laugh! To my kids u were uncle Steve... to us u were a brother and a best friend! We will miss u everyday but I promise u that in our hearts u will live forever! We love u our dear friend!

The words had been spoken!!! His .... My eyeballs bigger than dinner plates as we looked at one another and momma's jaw left on the front door step!!! Lmmfao!!!!!
