As you will read in the messages here that so many
of his friends and family sent to him in his final weeks of life, my
brother Steven was literally the life of any gathering, in the sense that
his presence enlivened and enriched the event.
I am thankful that he heard all of your messages, some having been reread to him at his request.
They made him laugh; they made him cry. But they all lifted his soul, and prepared him to begin transitioning to a new, unexplored adventure.
Before he passed on, he accepted Christ
into his life and was baptized, and many loved ones were ready to welcome
him into the light, their light, God’s Light.
Steve is now no longer in pain, and I believe he has brought his signature gifts into this Light.
He is finally at peace. I love you and miss you, Steve.
But I know we will remain connected until we meet again.
Thank you to all who wrote to him.
You made a difference.
