This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Steven Wilson, 49 years old, born on November 25, 1971, in Ft. Meade Maryland and passed away on April 28, 2021 in Ft. Smith Arkansas due to Stage 4 Acute Myelogenous Leukemia.

Steven is survived by his long time companion, Gayle D. Wren; his children, Elizabeth Wilson and Kathryn Wilson; a sister, Julie Jackson; two brothers, Corey Sayles and Erik Wilson, and his Dog Oliver.

Steven was a man of great humor with the ability to make an entire room laugh. He was a lover of nature and enjoyed taking it in. He found much peace in the beauty of the Earth. He loved his animals and he definitely loved his Cubs before it was cool. You could always ask Steven for song recommendations as he had a very eclectic taste in music. Definitely some of the best times with Steven was when there was good music, and a good view of the great outdoors.

I love the fact I can put the Depeche Mode or Metallica on, and feel your spirit rockin out with me. Love you bro.

Miss you a lot brother. Your jokes, your dark sense of humor and your brotherly love and acceptance. There are many days I wish I could speak to you. There are some days I think you are trying to reach out to me. Your influence on my life was one of positivity and profound. I learned a lot from you whether our circumstances were difficult, or the happiest of times. I am grateful you have found peace and do not have to suffer. Though at times I find it difficult living without you. God I love you brother. Merry Christmas.
