His Life
March 12, 2015

Stewart was 18 years old and a student at the University of Arkansas.  He was also a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity which he loved.  He and two of his fraternity brothers planned an awesome spring break trip to California.  They were going to surf and snow ski all in one trip.  Of course, it was going to be a road trip of a liftetime.  Their goal was to arrive at the Grand Canyon by sunrise so they could see the glory of the whole scene.

They thought they could take turns and drive through the night so off they went.  Stewart loved to drive and drove for the first 10 hours of the trip.  Sometime in the middle of the night they switched drivers and Stewart got in the backseat in a sleeping bag and forgot to put on his seatbelt.  The driver apparently got too tired about 5 in the morning and fell asleep at the wheel.  He over corrected and the truck flipped at least 5 times.  Stewart was the only one who lost his life, but the other boys are affected forever in the loss of their friend.

Stewart was a fun-loving young man whom everyone loved.  He is dearly missed and will never be forgotten!!!
