Pa was a strong man who loved his family dearly, he loved driving trucks, baking cakes, cooking, fishing, and hunting. He was a very good and  I mean very good cake baker, everybody in our family loved for him to bake a cake especially that "sour cream pound cake." he loved getting the family together for family gatherings such as our all time favorite which was our family reunion. He was the first African American man to drive trucks in Mount Olive NC, he really loved that job and transporting cars. He was a very sweet, cheerful, strong-minded man who everybody loved dearly.
