ForeverMissed

This memorial website was created in memory of our dearly beloved High School teacher,  Mr Sunday Omorobokhae who departed this world  on April 18, 2015.
Do light a candle and write a tribute in memory of a man who at one time in our lives taught us and laid a foundation for the men and women we are today.

We will remember him forever and we thereforefind comfort and solace in the words of the hymn :

WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS

1 What a Friend we have in Jesus,
  All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
  Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
  O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
  Everything to God in prayer!

 Have we trials and temptations?
  Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
  Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
  Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
  Take it to the Lord in prayer.

 Are we weak and heavy-laden,
  Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
  Take it to the Lord in prayer;
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
  Take it to the Lord in prayer;
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
  Thou wilt find a solace there.

Oh Death! You are too weak and powerless to that realistical fact that, you could not kill or limit the trans-epiphenomenal and trans-phenomenal impacts of one the great Teachers "cum" a Scientist Par Excellon... So, Death where is your Victory...? Hence, where is your glory, Oh Death? Then, it becomes more clearer that, Death will universally die one day. Since, in a particular sense, Death in its essence had died at the trans-phenomenal nature of the memory Mr. Sunday before the Creator of Creatures and the Creation. May eternal light shine upon him, Oh Lord! And... May his wonderful Soul rest in peace with the Creator. Amen!!

I must have left HTGS before you became a teacher there since I can't recall you. From the outpouring of mentions of the good legacies you left, you must have been a good teacher and mentor. For this reason you will live on - for "to live in the hearts of those you leave behind is not to die".
May your soul rest in peace. Adieu!

I called you daddy cos you were more like my father. And you loved us like your children to the extent you nicknamed all of us. When I saw you last March 21st, I never knew dat would be d last time I would set my eyes on you. I later realised the fatherly love has grown into you been my father in law. The Uanzekins would miss you, the Ediares would grateful miss you. Rest on daddy, it's still like a dream to me.

My Tribute

April 20, 2015

Uncle, like I fondly call him has been more than a high school teacher. I have so many fond memories of his love and care all through my days at HTGS and he remained an active part of my life even after then. Ebi like he would call me always made me feel so close since that was my pet name mostly called by my dad.

I remember a particluar biology lecture where he taught about the damage we cause to our teeth anytime we drink icy cold water while eating a very hot meal. That has been engraved in my memory and whenever I attempt to do otherwise I would always remember his face.

Uncle, Ebi will miss you dearly and to think I was planning on suggesting to the HTGS, CLASS OF 2000 alumni that we seek your consent to be our patron and advisor only to hear of your sudden death.

REST IN PERFECT PEACE and may God grant your immediate family and US the heart to bear this great loss...

ADIEU!!!!!!!! OKIEN AMIEGBE.....................
