This memorial website was created in memory of our dearly beloved High School teacher, Mr Sunday Omorobokhae who departed this world on April 18, 2015.
Do light a candle and write a tribute in memory of a man who at one time in our lives taught us and laid a foundation for the men and women we are today.
We will remember him forever and we thereforefind comfort and solace in the words of the hymn :
WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS
1 What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.

My Tribute
Uncle, like I fondly call him has been more than a high school teacher. I have so many fond memories of his love and care all through my days at HTGS and he remained an active part of my life even after then. Ebi like he would call me always made me feel so close since that was my pet name mostly called by my dad.
I remember a particluar biology lecture where he taught about the damage we cause to our teeth anytime we drink icy cold water while eating a very hot meal. That has been engraved in my memory and whenever I attempt to do otherwise I would always remember his face.
Uncle, Ebi will miss you dearly and to think I was planning on suggesting to the HTGS, CLASS OF 2000 alumni that we seek your consent to be our patron and advisor only to hear of your sudden death.
REST IN PERFECT PEACE and may God grant your immediate family and US the heart to bear this great loss...
