Susan was a long time resident of East Brunswick, NJ, until most recently Mission Viejo, CA. While attending East Brunswick High School she was the first male or female Middlesex County Athlete to score 100+ goals. A celebrated East Brunswick women's soccer star, she received All-American honors. In the twenty years after her graduation in 1983, her record was only surpassed twice. She graduated from Temple University School of Pharmacy in 1988. She was co-founder of a clinical consulting cractice, Pharmassist Inc. with her partner and friend Maria Migliore. Susan touched many lives old and young, in her profession, community involvement and family. She especially enjoyed supporting her children's spiritual, social and sports events at JSerra Catholic High School. She was an active member of bible study group and the San Juan Hills Women's Golf Association. Susan had a passion for golf, soccer and her family.
In memory of Susans love and continued advocacy to the profession of pharmacy , we would like those wishing to make donations, do so in Susan's name to Rosalind Franklin University. This small medical university in northern Chicago, is a special gem, striving to provide cutting edge research and train young professionals in the various medical professions including pharmacy. While Susan attended Temple University herself, our exposure to this institution comes from Marie's attendance there, where she began her own pharmacy journey with the white coat ceremony this Saturday August 11th. The ceremony can be viewed at https://livestream.com/RosalindFranklinU/2018COPWh...
Donations here will make a big impact on the institution, research and students and I know Susan would like that a lot. Donations can be made online by following the link below and selecting the "Susan Aquilino Memorial Fund" from the "Designation" pull down menu https://connect.rosalindfranklin.edu/donation-page.... Donations by check should be made payable to Rosalind Franklin University with a notation of the fund name in the memo field. My sincerest condolences to Susan’s entire family. I was a long time teammate in recreational and high school soccer with Sue. Not only was she an amazingly talented player, but she was just so much fun to be with. I was glad to rediscover her through Facebook a few years ago and enjoyed her posts. I know that she struggled with health issues but I could see that she lived her life to the fullest and was surrounded by love. Peace be with you all in your time of sorrow
