Susan K Hiler,  52 passed away surrounded by the love of her family on November 13, 2015.

Sue was born in Bryn Mawr PA. She was the daughter of Barbara McCarthy and Garry Whitney. Sue came out of the womb running and marched to the beat of her own drum, her entire life. She was free-spirited, filled with love and scrappiness.

The love of her life was her husband of 23 years Brian Hiler, her many dogs she had over the years and most recently her dog Bean, who was always by her side. In her early years she enjoyed her minibike, her drum set, drawing and listening to her favorite rock music.

In recent years she enjoyed sunbathing with her dog Bean, watching the Church  Channel, having the Bible read to her and attending church every Sunday.

She persevered past many obstacles throughout her life. She never complained about the pain she was in and always told us " I'm OK", she fought for her life till the very last moment. In the end she was a great example of strength to all of us.

She is survived by her beloved husband Brian, her trusted companion  Bean,  her dear mother Barbara McCarthy and her father Garry Whitney. Also her loving sisters Beth Kostans and Joy Koch,  her nieces and nephew Sarah, Megan, Matt, Madison and Abigail.

A memorial service will be held November 28, 2015 at 12 noon. For anyone who would like to celebrate Susans life at Calvary Chapel Chester Springs
217 Dowlin Forge Rd, Exton, PA 19341.

Brian, Barbara, Garry, Joy, Beth and Family,
I send my deepest of sympathy to all of you at your time of sorrow.
I remember having a lot of fun with Susan and Brain when they lived in Brigantine. I'm deeply sadden by her passing and by the Grace of GOD, may Susan rest in peace. To me she was a wonderful LADY.
GOD bless her family also at this time. Remember all the GOOD TIMES. I'll be with all of you in spirit.
