I remember the first time I met you. It was in The Railway, Globe Road almost 40 years ago. You and Brian were one of the first people Barry wanted to introduce me to. I was very nervous and when I saw how elegant and stylish you looked, it made me even more so, but you were so warm and funny and made me feel so welcome. I knew I had made a friend. It was a pleasure and joy to be in your company and you will be sadly missed.

Susan, you were a truly lovely person. You always made me laugh, sometimes without even realising it. I shall miss our catch ups and chats. Rest in peace sweetheart and follow the light.

I shall be forever grateful to Sue for her support when my husband John passed away in 1997.  She and I would meet for lunch each week in Ilford when she would give me a shoulder to cry on, we would have a natter, sometimes a laugh and partake of a glass of wine (or three !!) She will be forever in my thoughts, Rest in Peace dearest Sue.
