Her Life
September 14, 2013

Mrs. Arrington was born in Turin, Georgia on March 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Trudy May Gray Harris and Lubin Harris. She was retired from the Playtex Manufacturing Company where she was a supervisor, and was a Christian by faith.

“Miss Susie” was known far and wide for her husky chuckle and positive way of looking at life. Her warm wit could brighten even the gloomiest of situations. She loved all of nature. When her beloved husband “June Bug” was alive they spent many enjoyable hours on the river bank or on the boat catching even the slyest fish!

In her later years she took great joy in sitting on her front porch, looking at the flowers in her yard and feeding the Humming Birds. She was a loving sister and aunt. This spunky lady will long be remembered.

She is survived by her self-proclaimed adopted children Scott and Kim Parrott; brothers and sisters, Roland, Benny, Alvin, Tony, Lucy, and Shirley Harris; in-law brothers and sisters, Annie Ruth Jackson, Jeannette and Butch Mashburn, Linda and Alton Lester, Carolyn Gann, and Margaret Addison.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rufus Lance (Junior) Arrington, Jr.; two brothers and a sister Jessie, Edward, and Barbara Harris; and sister-in-law Irene Arrington.
