2011-06-09 02:54:45Susie you will be forever missed and loved. I will always cherish our high school friendship and all the other memories I have of you. I’ll never forget the honor of having you as one of my bridesmaids, you being there helped make my wedding day all the more special. I am thankful that I got to keep in touch through the years with e-mails and face book chats. Your upbeat spirit and personality always put a smile on my face. I can still picture your smile and laugh even now. I will be praying the Lord’s guidance and protection for your precious boys. I pray He will comfort them and strengthen them in the many days and years ahead. I am praying for your parents and other family members as well. It is a comfort to know that one day I will see your smiling face again. Again, God bless and comfort your family and friends. Praise God that He is close to those who are suffering. He knows the pain we’re going through and He keeps us from being consumed by it. I think of these verses for your family and friends left behind, I hope they will help bring much comfort.

“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4

“The Lord is near to those who are broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

“ 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:6-8

Forever in my heart,

From Autumn to Sarah/Shelby:
I have been praying for both of you this week. At my church this is one of my favorite bible verses:

1 Peter 5:7
"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you"
