This memorial website was created in memory of my loved one...
Please keep in mind that I am her granddaughter and some of the facts of her life may have discrepencies. I did the best that I could with the facts that I obtained from my dad, my great-aunt, Francis, my aunts and uncles, and my own memories that I have as a little girl. I intended for this site to be a tribute to the women who raised me through elementary school and who loved me unconditionally. She deserved only the best! I welcome you to leave your precious memories in the "stories" section on here as well.

I still remember stopping at the Coach Light (where she was working at the time) to show her her newborn grandson (Brian)....she took him in her arms and walked around the restaurant showing him off to everyone.....and I'll never forgot the time we were having lunch with her and as the waitress was taking our plates away "Syd" stopped her and asked, "are you going to throw that away?"....she was a stickler on not throwing food away.....a trait of that generation (my dad was that way too!).....and also, after "Mac" passed away, she stayed with us for several weeks. When she started hanging her bras on the halltree outside our main floor bathroom (where my piano students could see them!) I knew it was time for her to return to her own home.....all memories that make me smile.....

I love my Mother and I know she loves me. We are all grieving so things have been said or done to cause more hurt. For my part in that I am sorry. We were a family once but now it seems we are working against one another rather than grieve together. I know now I must let go and move forward. I feel isolated right now living so far away, but I know with time that WILL get better.
My apologies to the one that did reach out. I know you are grieving too. So if there is anything I am holding that you would like to have, to keep here memory alive, please let me know and I will do my best to get it to you. I can no longer reach out to try to mend these relationships.
It will very difficult to return to Denver knowing Mom will no longer be there. But I know I still have a brother and brother-in-law that still love me. And of course friends as well.
I will miss you dearly.
