I can't believe it has been a year. Sylvester was such a nice person, I remember his smile in church. He was such a proud father when Kendall was born, and he loved his wife. I know that your wife and son have missed you so much but I know that God needed you more. Love you always Brother Rice.

I was so sorry to hear of Sylvesters passing. I thought he was such a nice man. I admired the love I saw between the two of you anyone could see that you both loved each other so much. I know that God will comfort your family until they meet you again in heaven. I also look forward to seeing you again. It was my pleasure to have known you at Reeds Temple COGIC.

We only met once and spoke 2 or 3 times, but sometimes thats all it takes for people to "connect". My heart is saddened, yet I know that God has a special place for every one of His devotees. May God comfort the family and embrace them with His Mercy.

I'm so sorry to hear this news. I was Kendall's teacher until a few weeks ago. Sylvester was always so nice & one of the best parents at Sonshine! He will be missed!!!

I am a friend and co-worker of Sylvester's, and I wanted to express my deepest condolences to his family. He was such a sweet man, and I am blessed to have gotten to know him as well as I did. I will miss him so very much. If there is any way someone would be able to post when his funeral arrangements will be taking place, it would be greatly appreciated. Again, so sorry for your loss.
