Sylvestre "Beto" as many called him was born of humble beginnings at the age of 3 he began to work the field with his father. There was no time for school. He never learned to read nor right but he was a mathematician in his own right. For someone that never had any teachings he sure was an intelligent man. His lessons to his children was always think of the consequences before you decide to do something stupid. My Father never spanked us to teach us a lesson, that was my moms job. Instead he would give you a lecture for long periods of him holding you from going our to play. It was his way of dealing with you. I sometimes wished for the spanking instead. How I will miss our talks.

II know we all say my father was the best and I am not going to be any different. My father was the best father anyone would want. He loved Jesus and he served our Lord. I know he is now seated in heavenly place for God has prepared a room for him. I will miss him a lot.
