My Friend, My Sister
I had the privilege of knowing this wonderfully beautiful LADY for 19 years…what a blessing! I’m a better person because of her; she taught me so much, her kindness, her smile, positive attitude, and willingness to help made a tremendous impact in my life. If I could make the clock go back in time it would be to tell her “Ich liebe dich" just one more time…dearest friend, you have gone ahead of me but in a little while I know I will see you and my mother again. We have a lot to catch up on...you know what I mean...I MISS YOU...I'm sorry I wasn't around for you the way you were always here for me....the pain mom's passing left in my heart has been horrendous...somehow when I learned of your going home made me realize I can "feel" again.. I've been numb for so long...I hid from the people I loved the most...Ich liebe dich Sylvia...my sister, my friend...always...I'm not saying auf wiedersehen, I'm only saying bis wir uns wiedersehen.
A Friendship Cut Short
I only met Sylvia a couple of times, but would consider her a friend for life. The last time that I saw her was at Fiesta when Angelina fell and broke her leg. Sylvia and Wayne came and spent time at the hospital with all of us. She was full of energy and to look at her you would never know that anything was wrong. I got a strong sense of the type of woman she was that day. Laughing and telling stories, putting her own pain and suffering aside in someone elses time of need. I am happy to have met you Sylvia!
