A Beautiful Life

March 24, 2021
Sylvia never left us.We see her sitting in her favourite chair at Rob’s & Nicole’s place with a big smile on her face as she watched Charlie and Ben
play around. We hear her wholehearted laughter as
we gather and sit in the backyard. We remember her each night as we say our prayers imagining her beautiful smile.Let us all find comfort in knowing that
we’ve been a part of her quiet and well-lived life.
Happy 67th birthday in heaven Sylvia

In the Arms of the Lord

March 11, 2021

In the arms of love
In the arms of the Lord
You’re now free of woes
Of pains, your unwanted foes.

In the arms of the Lord
Is where you belong
You now have the peace
You deserved and longed for.

We didn’t want to see you suffer
Silent prayers for you we offer
From the bottom of our hearts
We give thanks for the life you had.

With sadness we accept our loss
It is God’s will, help Him carry His cross You will join Him in paradise
He died for you but again He will rise.

Good bye Sylvia.
Until we meet again one sweet day.
With love you will be remembered ❤️

Like an Eagle

March 14, 2021
You will soar like an eagle
As you leave your loved ones behind
With happy memories
Counted one by one.

Like an eagle, strong
Feisty, empowered
Spirit undefiled, tamed
Loved and respected.

The Great One up above
Didn’t want you to suffer
Any more than what you could handle Enough is enough, so for you He came.

You will be missed
Always, you will be loved
By many whose lives you’ve touched Through the many years of your existence.

Goodbye Sylvia.
Until we meet again one opportune day

Best Oma Ever

March 11, 2021
Sylvia loved my babies like they were her own. A handful of times she wrote to me how happy she was that Rob and I had Charlie and Ben. They kept her going, they kept her happy and excited. Charlie's first night away from home was for a sleepover at Oma's. I was sad to see Charlie go at the time, but watching her skip down the street hand in hand with her Oma, giggling, I knew that she would have the best time hanging out with her pal.
Every time she looked at Benny, it was usually with a long stare and her classic side smile, thinking of her own little boy back in the day, running around with boundless energy.
Sylvia was so proud showing them off at the children's Christmas party that her work threw every year. Her smile would be ear to ear. She gave them so much love and friendship. She taught our kids about respect & responsibility, and showed by example what it means to be real and true to yourself. I always thought she would see them grow into adults but I know she's watching over them from heaven, forever cheering them on.

Love you Oma, it is unreal how much we will miss you.
