Sylvie passed away on November 19, 2011, at a Reston Hospital (Virginia, USA) from a pulmonary embolism after collapsing upon her arrival at Washington Dulles Airport from Douala, Cameroon. She is survived by her husband (Jean-Bernard Kuate) with whom she travelled for the first time to the USA to start a new life.

We will remember her forever



The Cameroonian community of the Washington DC area is mourning Sylvie and is planning to repatriate her remains in Cameroon. Your generous contribution to defray the repatriation and funeral expenses is  highly appreciated.
