Tabitha L. Merchant, 22, of Fisherville Road in Concord, died Friday, March 30, 2007, at home after a sudden illness.

She was born in Concord, the daughter of Tony and Tammy (Lucier) Thibeault. She attended Concord schools.

Tabitha was a devoted mother.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Terrance Merchant Jr. of Concord; her children Jazmyn Merchant, who is 2 years old, and Jayden Merchant, who is 3 weeks old, both of Concord; her paternal grandmother, Lillian Thibeault of Loudon; her brother, Tony Thibeault Jr. of Concord; her sister, Tiffany Thibeault of Boscawen; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 10 a.m. to noon at Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St. in Concord.

Funeral services will follow at noon in the chapel of the funeral home and will be officiated by the Rev Jim Daly.
