His Life
July 20, 2021
Tadeusz was born in 1945 with the sound of the Estern Front moving closer to the family farmhouse and was in the family affectionately reffered to as a "war baby". He started his higher education in Air Defence Officer's School in Jelenia Gora, from which he was expelled as "enemy of the people" before graduation for discovered correspondence to a relative in the capitalist USA. If he had not been his later life in the US would not have been possible, as after graduation he could have been sent as a military "advisor" to assist the North Vietnamese regime in shooting down American B52s at that time carpet bombing that country. Symbolic of physical division the whole Brzeski family had to endure later in the highly polarized Cold War Era when for 8 long years the family was separated and not able to join missed Tad after he was able to obtain at that time rare visa to the US and decided to stay there after several years as a vice director of large collective farm Podagi, where together with Wiesia there were very active in the cultural life of the comunity, organizing harvest festifal as well as equestrian competitions. After the first thaws of Glasnost made rejoining families more possible the family once again became one and rejoined Tadeusz in Houston, where together a new chapter of life in the new land begun, Tad continued as a provider furthering his education further as before in the Olsztyn Polytechnic, this time at the Aircraft mechanics college and ended his full working life at Maxwell House Coffee. During this time and all through out retirement both Tad and Wiesia were avid gardeners with love of animals, volunteering large portions of their free time at the Polish church in Houston, where they were loved by many, at local lodge, as well as numerous cultural and commercial festivals and exhibitions. In 2019 they both returned to their homeland of Poland where they build a summer country cottage in central Poland and spend their winters in Klodzko in the Sudety Mountains,  being closer to their remaining family and to their daughter and grandchildren.  They passed away  in late April of 2021 during the second flare up of covid19  pandemic in their region, days before their scheduled vaccination day.

Tadeusz is buried with Wife in Leg Koscielny, Nearl Plock Poland.
