I remember back in 1964 or early 1965 when Elton was going for his actual training in working on cash registers for NCR that we were moving from Georgia to Hartford Connecticut where the training was being held and it was winter time. A very rough winter time. As we were driving through parts of the country on our way there we encountered a very heavy snow storm in a mountainous region. When we stopped for the night to stay at a hotel. The car froze up and wouldn’t start the next morning. Knowing a bit about cars, Elton somehow managed to get the car moving again that day. We made it to Hartford in the nick of time for him to begin his extensive training program. Our son Jeff was born in September 1965 in Hartford. We coparented Jeff throughout the years and both of us were richly blessed through that experience. We remained good friends throughout all our years and were always grateful Jeff grew up with both his parents being an integral part of his life
