Job 1:21

February 11, 2023

The Bible gives us a story in the Book of Job. Job 1:18 Job was a man who feared God and was upright and blameless in the sight of God. Yet Job experienced misfortune and tragedies all in one day. These were the words of Job after losing everything that was dear and precious to him. "Naked I came from my mother's womb. And naked shall I return. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away: Blessed be the name of the Lord"

The loss of a loved one is never an easy thing to deal with. But the bible gives us an example of Job and how the devil plotted and planned all of this heartbreak and sorrow in Job's life and God gave him permission to.  In everything that happened in Jobs' life, Job never blamed or cursed God. He took the good with the bad and had an attitude of humility and reverence for the life that God had given him.
Job was unmovable and unshakeable in his faith and in his suffering.

The Bible tells us that one day Job's wife walked off and left him and his children were all killed suddenly when a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house and it fell on all of his children and they all died.
The Bible says that Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head and fell to the ground, and worshipped.  Loved Ones that is what we should be doing. Worshipping God. Why? Because God knows everything and nothing is hidden from God.
God has the blueprint for our lives and He has already seen it all. From beginning to end. Nothing surprises God and out of His love for us he saves and rescues us.

'Do not allow yourselves to be consumed with grief. All of our days are numbered.     We don't minimize the pain. But we do not allow ourselves to be overcome with grief and sorrow. No matter how hard we grieve. Tamara is not coming back. And she wouldn't even if she could!!  We rejoice because Tamara made it into her heavenly home!! Now we strive to get our work done. To finish our course. To fulfill our destiny.
Tamara accomplished much in this life. But her greatest accomplishment in this life was to finish her destiny and to make it into her heavenly home. No wonder she was always in a hurry. I believe she knew in her heart that her time on earth was drawing nigh.
I do believe that she had a revelation of making it into heaven.

One of the last conversations I had with her while she was in the hospital was.........
*Mom thank you and Jarvis for praying for me and being a strength to me, It feels like
God is right here in the bed with me. What a beautiful testimony! I  pray that family can grasp the revelation of (everything) is in God's Hands.  Not ours....
(Tamara was in His hands)... And nobody could hurt her or pluck her out.

Job 14: 5 Since his days are determined and the number of his months is with you, and since You have set limits that he cannot exceed. That exceed means go beyond.
So family we cannot go beyond the time we are given here.

Ecclesiastes 1: 3
To everything, there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die,, a time to plant and a time to uproot .
Our beloved Tamara is at rest and peace. Let us understand our purpose and destiny and live out the reason that God placed us on the earth. Let us fulfill our mission and calling. Tamara came for a reason and I'm so glad she was a part of our lives. Now we must release her. Not her memory but the grief and the pain of losing her and remember her life with JOY and not with sorrow. Let us rejoice and be thankful for the yrs that God gave her to us.
Amen

In all that we walk through in this life. God's goodness and mercy follows hard after us.

  1. The Love of God that watches over us from day to day, protects us from the worst to come. He brings us to our heavenly home as a form of protection from evil days approaching that His people cannot see nor do they deserve. He will never allow the devil to subject us to undue torment, suffering and pain.
Isaiah 57: 1
Good people pass away; the godly often die before thier time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. For those who follow God's paths will rest in peace when they die
God protects us as little children. His love surrounds and covers us until we make it into our heavenly home.

Psalm 56:8
He puts our tears in a bottle.
Our tears are not futile. God knows each of His children intimately, and every tear we shed has meaning to Him. He remembers our sorrow and beholds every tear. In the end , He will share His joy with us when " He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain. For the old order of things
(in this life) has passed away. Revelation 21:4

In Loving Memory of Tamara Charity Ellis

Tamara Charity Ellis
Beloved daughter, mother of one son, sister and aunt.❤
I could write a book about Tamara.  She was so full of energy and personality.  Had a great sense of humor, bubbly friendly, loving, giving, charitable just like her name. God gave Tamara her share of gifts, talents and abilities.  She loved acting and her goal as a child was to go to acting college, that she accomplished. She was a soul-stirring, electrifying, sensational, high spirited, extraordinary, dazzling, passionate and striking actress. She had the gift of comedy and kept us all laughing. She was truly a gift wrapped in joy from God. And a total JOY to be around. She was goal oriented and driven to accomplish all She set out to do. She went to school to become a (Drug and Alcohol Counselor).  Encouraging women to overcome their addictions and to lead sober and productive lives. Tamara was a high achiever in the family. She was a Rep for a several telephone companies, recieved awards and promotions. She was always ambitious and favored on her jobs as being a capable instructor and leader. Tamara was very passionate about makeup. She was a self taught makeup artist. She had many pictures that showed the amazing artistry that was created In everything that she put her hands to whether gift or talent people recognized her abilities and she was never without clientele. In 2020 She started her own business TamdollGlamdoll she sold a variety of women's shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, bonnets, eyelashes, purses and variety of accessories; She created her own lip gloss line. She became a nail tech and did nails and later created her own line of ready to wear nails. A few weeks before her departure she was overjoyed to find that her test results and license to be a Notary specifically for (Real Estate had come in the mail. Tamara was fearless about living life. A go getter.. She was very very dear and close to all our hearts . She was our baby. No one or nothing can ever take her place. She will live in our hearts forever.
So loved, by so many. The harder you love, the harder it is to let go. There are days I think darn)))) She's really not here anymore. Just like we release a Balloon in the air. We released her to God but she will be in our hearts FOREVER. We will always remember her voice and beautiful smile and giggles that couldn't be compared to no other. Her sincere giving and compassionate heart❤. It was her time and her season to go to her Rest. And she told us that God was with her and she felt Him and His closeness to her. Everyone decides when they're tired and it's time to take their Rest. That is very personal. No one comes here to stay forever. Rest is between that person and God and as much as we love our love ones... We cannot decide for them. Nor can we interfere in God's decision to take her home.
She was completely and totally blessed by God. He journeyed with her,  protected, blessed and kept her and the angel came and escorted her home to her Creator. May she Rest In Heavenly Peace. We rejoice because we know we shall see her again. One day in God's timing, she will be joined with her love ones.
