Tamara “Tammy” Rose Jennings was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 13th, 1965 to parents Alvin and Sharon Jennings. Tammy gained her Heavenly wings on August 29, 2019.
Tammy was a committed mom and Grandma, beautiful person and a talented soul. Known for her creative spirit, Tammy will be remembered, for being an amazing friend, a faithful mother, a loving daughter and sister, she never failed to brighten up a room with her smile and Loving personality. Tammy was known by her family as “Tammy Rose”, and Auntie Bunnie, by her brother Don “Charlie Brown” as “Sally” and by her Big Sis as “Shadow”. She was the Creative Owner of Tammy’s Personalized Creations. She was a Faithful member of Revival Center Ministries, Dayton, Ohio. She was a graduate of the class of ‘83 Meadowdale High School. She also attended Nettie Lee Roth High School during her Freshman and Sophomore years. A Lifelong resident of West Dayton, but also lived in Elsmere, Ky and San Diego, CA for brief period of time.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Jennings, Sr., both sets grandparents and Sister, Rhonda “Peaches” Dudley, Special Father Charles Anthony Weaver, Sr. and Brother Charles “Tony” Weaver Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Sharon Jennings (Donald Mickler); twins Daughters, Nina and Elaine Jennings, and 9 Grandchildren aka “Nonnie’s 9”:Tranel, Macario, Aniya, Malachi, MecKenzie, Macayla, Marianna, Malique, and Morgan; Sisters: Sylvia Crane Hurd (Edwin), Althea “TT” Jennings and Lettia “Boobie” Jennings Watkins, Reva Dudley, Rita Hart, Tanya Nelloms, Dora and Adele Weaver; God-Sister Judy Turner Barnes; Brothers: Don Crane and Alvin “AJ” Jennings, Jr., AJ “Squirty” Jones, Lance Irvin, Maurice and Raul Weaver. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family, relatives, BFF’s Tanya “Shane” Evans, Gwen Stargell Arnold, Sandra “Sonchi” Holmes, Stacey Portis, Angela “Angel” Way and other close friends.
The family has entrusted Lusain Funeral Home & Crematory of Dayton, Ohio with the arrangements. Visitation at 11am and Celebration of Life to be held September 7th, at 1pm at Revival Center Ministries located at 3011 Oakridge Drive Dayton. Ohio 45417
