Tammy Sue Whitfield, 56, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Granville Medical Center.

A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of William Lyon Whitfied and Emily Bragg Whitfied.  She was a member of Creedmoor First Baptist Church and worked at DC May for many years.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor, N.C.

Surviving other than her parents are her daughter, Amanda Sanders (Michael) of Stem, a sister, Debra Talley (Bucky) of Wilton, a brother, Donny Whitfield of Wilton, three grandchildren, Sierra Webb, David Webb, Kenny Strange and a niece, Tina Talley and a nephew, Jason Talley.
