First time on a real golf course was with Tarry, Ron, and Brent. We walked the longest course in town. I think I shot 160. Can't imagine the patience it took to watch us kids hack around. There is an infamous story about backpacking and scaring Jr high kids with bobcat stories. Spoiler alert, the role of the bobcat was played by Tarry. Later coached baseball with Tarry. A great friend, mentor, and role model. Gone too soon.

Tarry Allen Rollf     July 31, 1960 – February 16, 2021

Tarry was born in Fresno, California to Harry and Beverly Rollf. He lived in Fresno his entire life.

Tarry met his wife (Jana Dull) at First Presbyterian Church. They were married for 40 years. Tarry was a devoted husband and father. He was a family man who enjoyed doing activities with family and friends including sporting events, camping, hiking, waterskiing, bicycling, hunting, golfing with his sons, and many other activities.

Tarry was a gifted and talented Picture Framer for 42 years. After spending 20 years at Tom Mott Framemaker, he opened up his own business, Rollf’s Gallery and Picture Framing. He won numerous National awards for his creative framing abilities, including being interviewed (at the age of 26 years old) by the editor of Decor Magazine where the editor stated, how amazed how young he was to win the Professional Picture Framers Association Print Framing Competition. Tarry was sought after by local artists and Interior Designers.

Tarry came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior while attending First Presbyterian Church (Fresno) in his youth. He was a member for 50 years and served as Elder, Sunday School Teacher, and a Youth Advisor. He was currently attending Trinity Community Church. We are rejoicing that Tarry is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
