ticket to heaven

If this train had a stop in heaven...I would be the first person in line to buy a ticket!
I know you are in Heaven and the tears I shed are for me,
I know all that, but I cannot explain it to my heart,
... so that it will no longer grieve.
I look for you and for a moment believe
that there in a corner, your shadow I see.
... Life is not always as we want it to be,
but knowing and accepting are different things.
I pray to God and some relief it brings,
but a part of me is selfish
and would have kept you here with me.
Please forgive that weakness in me.
Be at peace dear one and know that my love is always with you
