Christina Grimmie - In Christ Alone

My brother, Ted Rudow, passed away this morning. For those of us that knew him, I am certain that we can say that we are proud to have known such a selfless, generous, and giving individual, the likes of which I have yet to meet in my life. His life personified positive thinking at it's best, despite the difficulties that Ted faced everyday, being paralyzed on his side, and confined to a wheel chair, living alone for so many years. I thought it quite the coincidence that our cousin, John Rudow, posted a bit of Ted's history from his record-breaking carrier in College Basketball at the Univ. of Cal Berkeley. He was a super-star then, and he still is... finally getting his rewards in Heaven for a life of love and concern, and giving to others that spanned the globe from his little one room apartment in California. There are many of us that will miss you, Ted, and I know that you heard a resounding, "Well Done, my good and faithful servant... Enter into the Joy of the Lord". The message line says.... 'Say something to Ted'... well, in a few words, I love you bro... I know you're in a wonderful place, free of the shackles you had here; overwhelmed by your rewards. I'm sorry that I didn't do more, but I guess I can square all of that when I see you up there someday. Goodbye to a great man of God and friend to so many of us.

I've added a song that is just right for Ted, and sung by Christina Grimmie - "In Christ Alone"... They're in the same place now, maybe they'll get to sing it together.

Ted's Story.... from you .

Tears Can Be a Telescope

Please take the time to share stories of your interactions with Ted.  A lot happened in his 64 years, and I'm going to do all that I can to remember what I can and post it as it comes back.

If you were there for any particular 'chapter' of his life, here is your chance to say what happened for all to read.  Thank you for taking the time to do this.

.... from Jim Rudow, Ted's younger brother.

PS: I've added a song here that Ted wrote and recorded, 'Tears Can Be A Telescope'.  I'm sure he's singing and playing the guitar now!
