My son & I shall never forget your kindness, humor and the living demonstration of Christ's love you were each time we saw you.
And oh your smile Contagious!
You were a friend, a wonderful role model for my Jacob...simply put we are sad.
Rest well in the room I know Our Father has just for you.

Ted...I'll miss you my friend. I've known you a long time. You're home now so no more worries or pain for you. Still, it was good knowing you for as long as I did.
Until we meet again.
Death Is Nothing At All
By Henry Scott-Holland
Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Nothing has happened.
Everything remains exactly as it was.
I am I, and you are you,
and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolute and unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval,
somewhere very near,
just round the corner.
All is well.
Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!

I loved my friend
He went away from me
There's nothing more to say
The poem ends,
Soft as it began-
I loved my friend

You were always clear on Jesus’ amazing love for us. You showed the Holy Spirit to so many people in so many ways. You lived humbly and endured a lot in your walk. You were a close friend from Cherry Hill Baptist and I am grateful we had time together there. I remember vividly you looking at me and saying “this matters - pay attention” about living your faith.

Ted, I wish I could pay you the tribute you deserve, but I don’t have the words. I still can’t believe you’re not here. Your talent, grace, kindness, wisdom, sincerity, humor, humility, and total command of whatever room you stepped into, wraps up one loving, caring, and beautiful soul. You always had a smile and kind word to say. You were such a light…reflecting what a Christian life should look like. Thank you: Requiescat in pace, my friend.
