What a rude shock to hear about your demise. You are such a big gift to the world and especially the lives you touched with your calling and gift GOD gave you. I am sure you have finished your race an sojourn on planet earth, and you are resting well in the bosom of your saviour Jesus christ. You were a blessings to me and my entire family. May God keep the family you left behind. I will forever be grateful for your love to my family. Sleep on till we meet again.

So sad as it is to hear of Sis. Teju's passing, this day I am thanking God for her life, that she loved, lived and honoured the Lord and I have no doubt that the Lord has honoured her too.
For the many lives that she touched the impact she made, in her family and all those that encountered her.
Our beloved sister keep smiling as you rest in the bosom of our heavenly father

Can someone please wake me up and tell me it is not true! I am deeply saddened, I grew up knowing you as a gentle angel whom God blessed us with. I remember all the discussions and advices you gave to us as we put Baba to rest. I am sure you are in a better place. Rest on!!!

It was a great shock to hear of your passing on into glory. My memory of you is your soft voice along with your smile. You were beautiful both on the outside and most importantly on the inside. Brother Rotimi did a good job by picking amongst the best of roses. You became a rose to many, a blessing indeed. I thank God for your life.
You will be greatly missed. Rest in the bosom of Jesus our Lord till we meet again.

Its so hard to write this tribute, the shock of your passing to glory so sudden remains unbelievable. I remember the first time you were introduced to me at Unife, how genuinely warm you were and laughed as I thought you were an Igbo lady. That character remained even when we had not seen each other for years. Your motherly, soft spoken and peaceful nature are much to be emulated. Your love for God and impact on family members and the Christian community are enviable.
I know Heaven rejoiced at your homecoming - so my dear sister, we take consolation that you fought a good fight and won.
Good night, till we meet to part no more.

I didn’t spend time with her like most people but the little conversations we had were filled with love and wisdom. She took the time out to know you , inquire what emotions are beneath the smile and help find peace. She never knew me but showed me how beautiful of a person she is and how mothers should be . I remember our conversations and they set me on the right path towards my hopes , dreams and aspirations. She always made you feel every decision you made was right and it had a reason. I am sure there is a reason for this and God knows it all, I might never get to meet a sweet person like her but I am glad I met her. Her only place is with angels, thank you for everything ma

TRIBUTE TO A WOMAN OF FAITH
Mummy Atiloluwa
Still shocked that you are no more with us and
very hard for us to believe but the consolation we have
Is that you lived your entire life for Christ.
You may be gone from our midst
But you aren’t gone from our hearts,
because we will always remember you
Though you are no more here
Oh what a virtuous woman, a soft spoken personality
We will really miss your smile
A true wife to her illustrious husband and a mother indeed to her children.
Mummy ATI
You were a mother like no other
You were unique in your own ways
You lived your life the best way you could
You ran the race God set before you
But we will always celebrate your memory
Rest in the bosom of the Lord Almighty till we meet to part no more
May the Lord comfort Brother Rotimi, the Children and everyone of us left behind.
Mummy ATI, Adieu

I am able to smile as I believe you are already in the bosom of the Almighty God whose path you have shown to many of us. Revd Teju Oni would dissect the Scripture as though she was present when It was written. You showed me much love the day you heard I was a Fiwasaye Girls’ raised. The love doubled when you knew I’m Chief Fagbuyiro’s daughter. What can I say now that I just started enjoying your affection and attention? Rest on Mummy Oni.

It has taken me so long to react because your demise was a rude shock to me....I wouldn't know what to say because there was no trace of such a thing happening. But the consolation we have is that you lived your life for the Lord who made us and as a "good soldier of Christ" you fought the battle to the end. As the Lord's 'General', we have the assurance that you "have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith" and the "crown of righteousness" is yours....we'll greatly miss you in our family. Sleep on our dear Sister until the resurrection morning when we will meet to part no more. Adieu!!

It was when my wife and I met you and your husband Rotimi, who is my colleague that my wife told me that you Tejumade went to the same secondary school Fiwasaye secondary school,Akure
.She told me that you were simple, easy going, respectful, humble and intelligent. My wife used to admire your apealling smile.
Even though you were a princess you never allowed it to get into you as to be arrogant. I even discovered more of your golden attributes as time went on, you were very friendly and Goldly. You loved God and He loved you too. You lived a successful life. Your demise is a rude shock to both of us. You will be solely missed.
We condole with my friend Rotimi and the beautiful children. God Almighty will give you the strength to bear the loss.
Rest in the bossom of the Lord Almighty Tejumade, till we meet to part no more.

Sis Teju, your death was a shock to me but who are we to question God. I knew you as a sister not sister in law. You were a virtuous woman. You were one of the kindest and most special people. I was lucky enough to have known you. Rest on dear sister.

We thank God for your short but well-lived life for the glory of God our Father. We are persuaded that you are in a better place and your faith has become sight as you have joined the saints triumphant to behold the glory of the Lamb who sits on the throne. We pray for the comfort of the Holy Spirit for our beloved brother Rotimi, your children as well as the immediate and extended family members that you left behind. It is is good night for now because we shall meet on the resurrection morning and never to part again. Adieu beloved sister!

Tejumade, I knew you as a young beautiful, aspiring, zealous, God fearing, devoted, loving and caring lady. You were truly a princess in and out. The first day I set my eyes on you, I saw the genuineness of your love for your husband and loyalty to our family. Our first meeting will ever remain fresh in my memories as I recently experienced the flashes.

Words can not describe how I felt when I heard about your transition.  I kept asking one ‘simple’ but extremely ‘loaded’ question... which is,’Who is to take up your role in your immediate and extended families’? As I write, no one, not even myself, has been able to provide me the answer.

You have fought a good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith!

You will surely be missed!

Sleep on and may God grant you eternal bliss.

Rev Teju Oni’s passing was a rude shock to my wife and I. We remember her for her passion for God, her doggedness and fortitude in the face of challenges, and her love of family. May God console her dear husband, family and all of us that she generously and dedicatedly shared her life with.

Sister Teju my precious admirable and beloved sister...sleep on.
We love you but He needs you more.Nothing takes Him by surprise so we have our anchor of assurance in the fact that He’s in control and will take good care of the ones left behind.
Your perfect or close to perfect life has touched multitudes of which I’m one of them.
We still exchanged pleasantries and well wishes just few weeks ago still commenting on the project which was at the final stages but this call....Yes this Call came ,alas this Call came!!!
But we will hold up our heads because our hope is not only in this world as we 'allow' those Bible verses to soothe our never ebbing tears.
We will put on courage in the midst of our tears and celebrate you in all facets. You deserve no less and I believe heavens too are celebrating a saint Called home.

You radiated the glory of God wherever you are and you have touched so many lives than you can imagine. You have gone to a better place and so we can take solace in that. Your memory lives forever in the different lives you have touched positively. I imagine you walking majestically into heaven with the souls you have won for Christ.
Rest on mummy, till we meet to part no more.

Unimaginable, surreal – these are the words that come to mind in attempting to capture the lived experience of knowing you have gone home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. How else can we describe the suddenness of your transition to glory? Sister, you set for us, a lofty standard of commitment and excellence in true discipleship, marital fidelity and home-building. We were enriched by your wisdom and hospitality. You influenced many around the world through the ministry of the Word, your teaching, counselling and leadership gifts. This is why we were blind-sided by your heavenly call. To us, you were on the ascendancy and the peak still laid on the horizon. Even so, we remain grateful for the solid impact you made. You honoured us and the Lord has brought you even greater esteem – a saint, now part of the cloud of witnesses urging us on along this path of righteousness. How beautiful the event will be when we reunite on that glorious morn and we all behold His face. Till then, we keep cherished memories of your time here in our hearts. Adieu, dear sister, you deserve the celestial repose and crown of glory.

Our lovely Princess Teju as we called you in those Fiwasaye days! Now Queen Teju as we got older and together again on FOGA 71/75 whatsapp group! You endeavoured at all cost to join us at the FOGA reunion in Akure after about 50years since we all left Fiwasaye. What a great moment and reunion indeed not knowing it would be the last! My last call to you was in November not knowing it was goodbye and fairwell! It is still a shock that you have left us! It is well, you have completed your journey here and started a better one in heaven with angels and saints. Teju continue to rest in the mighty bossom of the Lord and march gloriously and victoriously in Jesus name.

Queen Tejumade! I was shocked like most of our classmates when l heard the terrible news. How could this have happened? You were so full of life and loved the Lord.
How can l forget your birthday, March 23rd. It’s also my mom’s birthday. You called me almost a year ago to apologize for not attending her 90th birthday because you celebrated yours too with your family.
I appreciated your sincere call and was just too happy to hear your voice again after so many years we left Fiwasaye. Who would have thought...
May your sweet soul rest in perfect peace and may the Lord bless your path and grant you strong helpers in the beyond Amen .

Hmm, Sister Teju! I was shocked when I saw the message of your going home on someone's status. I couldn't believe it, I had to call my husband to confirm if it was true. You were such a loving, beautiful (in and out), peaceful, down to earth, bold, confident daughter of Zion. We went to Ghana together for a women's conference and we were all blessed by your ministration. The last time I saw you was at a wedding last year March and it never crossed my mind that would be the last time I will see you on this part of eternity. Since I heard the news, I have been thinking of how short the life on this side is and how it could end abruptly without any prior notice. Our mouths can't express how much we will all miss you but we have the consolation of meeting again at our Master's feet. Didun ni Iranti Olododo!.

My beloved Sister Teju Oni, the wife of my beloved Brother, Rotimi Oni. We will certainly miss your love, calmness and calculative look as you ponder on issues to make decisions. Sister Teju. I can’t believe that truly you have gone to rest with your God. The news was a very rude shock! About 37 of your 65 years (less just 23 days) you spent being part of our family (the Onis); you were (and still are) so dear to us. You were a Sister to us all (not an in-law); Bro Mi (Rotimi) and all of us are missing you already. You served your God, Bro Mi, your children, all of us and very many other people. Sis, the Lord will rest your beautiful soul peacefully with Him. Thank God and thank you for the life you lived.
