ForeverMissed
This memorial website was created in honour of our beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, Sister Temitope Soboyede who went to be with the Lord on June 20th 2021.We are grateful to God for the opportunity He gave to us to be a part of her life and to experience her uniqueness.

She was an ardent soldier in the Kingdom of God, her passion for souls was, is and continues to be an inspiration to all that knew her. We are confident that she is in a much better place; with our heavenly father, so we rejoice and are thankful.

She would want everyone who comes to this page to be saved. So, if you have not confessed Jesus as Lord and master of your life, please take this opportunity to receive salvation.
Kindly say this prayer and mean it with all your heart:
"Dear Father, I believe with my heart in Jesus Christ. I believe he died for me and that God raised him from the dead and he is alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day onwards. In the name of Jesus, I have eternal life, I am saved, I am born again, I am a child of God. Hallelujah!!!"

Please feel free to leave your tributes, comments, share memories, photos and fun stories about your encounters and experience of our dear sister.

Dearest sister Temi, you left a huge gap. It is palpable.

I was not opportune to meet you in-person, but your fruits speak, your fruits of righteousness stand before God as pillars.

Indeed, the only thing we can take out of this world is what we left behind. Ma Temi, the legacy you left is evident for all to see.

And herein lies our comfort, that you optimised the grace of God upon your life & did not frustrate it.

And if we have learnt anything from you, it is to be careful how we build ...'every man's work shall be made manifest...because it shall be revealed by fire' I Cor 3:13

Your fruits of righteousness stand for all to see.

Thank you for exemplifying Christ.
Thank you esteemed Sister Temi.

Dearest mummy Temmy! It still feels like yesterday that the news of your departure was broken to us in Church!

Your departure is so painful, really painful. We didn’t have so much time to spend with you, but the little we were opportuned to, you made a great impact in me and my husband’s lives and for that you left an indelible mark in our hearts. You welcomed us with so much warmth and we felt at home in such short time. I really missed you mummy. I missed how you encouraged my husband and I and how you made positive and faith-filled declarations over us. Sometimes I’ll just sigh deeply, and my husband would ask me why, and I’ll tell him “I’m thinking about mummy Temmy” even after the months rolled by. Though I wish you’re with us for longer, but I take solace in the fact that you’re in the bosom of our Lord Jesus. I miss you so much mummy Temmy and I love you so dearly

This is my tribute to Auntie Temmi.
She was a wonderful woman, a woman after God's heart.
Not only was she a sister in church but she was our mother, she was there for us, she cared and loved us like her own children and made I and my family welcomed in church, she checked on use frequently and involved us in church activities and made us feel part of the church when we first came to the UK. Even though I have only know her for a year and some months she has truly touched my life and motivated me to be my best at all times. Now that she has gone back to the father we will miss her dearly and we will continue to build the church she worked so hard to raise by winning more souls to the lord, her number one hobby.

She was, is and will forever be an angel to me, she was the kind of person who will never want you sad and will always try to help in anyway she can. I don't know her personally but with the few interaction between us I got to know what an amazing soul she was and she will forever live in mine and my families life, I don't need to say that may her so rest in peace cause I know that she is already resting in a perfect peace

I still can't come to terms with the fact that you have gone to be with the lord...to know you is to love God,your words of encouragement and prayers helped me through my trying times and I am forever grateful, I know you are up there smiling at me,you had time to reach out to me everytime I needed someone to confide in, you would call me in the middle of the night just to be sure I was asleep. Your favourite scripture everytime we had a conversation was Jeremiah 29:11...I am confident that you are in heaven, continue to rest with the lord till we meet on that resurrection morning....

In the Loving Memory of My Sister

Those we love don't go away, they still walk beside us everyday. Unheard and Unseen but always near us. Still Loved, Still Missed, and Very Dear to us.

It's so sad that you have to leave us now but I'm so grateful to God for the impact you've made in the lives of our children.

May the families find Comfort and in her loving memories, Strength and Peace from God, and Hope in each new day.

May Your Gentle Soul Rest in Peace My Sister.

This is something I never expected and that makes it really painful.
I thought you were still going to call me back after leaving a prayerful message on your mobile.
I thought we are going to continue our conversation on the phone as normal with all the wonderful details of life talked about.
Words seems so feeble to me right now because they are not enough to ease the deep sorrow of the loss of someone so Special like You. I will never forget the day you led my children with some other children to the Lord and walk them through the infilling of the Holy Spirit on zoom.
Oh death! You are such a thief!
I pray for God's Strength and His Peace for the families left behind.
Rest on Peacefully My Aunty❤️

Sis it still feels like a dream since I heard the news of your departure.I never knew it was a good bye when I came over for visit and when we did video call sometime last year with the Kids.
You were such an Angel with your comforting words using the scripture at all times.I have the confidence that you are having a deserved rest in the bossom of the almighty.
Rest on dear Sis till we meet to part no more.

It still shocks that you're gone.
She was not just a good friend, she was my sister, and she'll definitely be missed.

But the assurance that you now rest with the Almighty, consoles me.

Rest on peacefully now, Sis.

You came, you saw and you conquer. You are a part of the proof that you don’t need to be a Methuselah before your life can count. You have indeed fulfill the heaven mandate with your short stay. You have left a very big vacuum that will take only God to fill. We love and miss you cousin.

her Life

Childhood and Education

Sister Temitope Soboyede was born into the families of Late Chief Olusegun Banjo and Deaconess B.B Popoola. She is one of four siblings.

In 1979, she started her primary school education and attended Federal Demonstration Primary School ( now known as Onitolo Primary School) Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. In 1985, she proceeded to Onitolo Grammar School for her secondary school education, this was completed In Methodist Girls High School, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.

She attended the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria in 1994 where she bagged a Bachelors degree in  Accountancy. She later undertook professional courses in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and subsequently moved to the United Kingdom where she gained a Diploma in Computing at the London Academy of Administrative studies.

Marriage and Family

Sister Temmy met her beloved husband Pastor Segun Soboyede in London, United Kingdom and they got married on December 1st, 2007 in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The union was blessed with three wonderful children: Naomi (12), Kharis (9) and Jaiden (7).

Sister Temmy was a most amazing wife and mother, an example of a helper in every sense of the word. Sister Temmy painstakingly nurtured her children in the things of the Lord and ensured they were saved and filled with the Spirit at their young age.

She will be greatly missed but we rejoice in the Lord as we shall all meet at The Rapture.

Ministry

In January 2013, Sister Temitope Soboyede was sent along with her Husband Pastor Segun Soboyede to pioneer Christ Embassy Birmingham 2 (now LoveWorld Birmingham Central Church). She was very committed to this mission and together they have raised passionate men and women who are committed to the vision of the ministry of the Man of God, Rev Chris Oyahkhilome DSc. DD.

She was an ardent soul winner, excellent at evangelism and diligent in follow-up. She was involved in several ministry arms and departments in church. She was passionate about church growth, growing the women cell from 5 at inception to well over 40 consistent members and counting.

Sister Temmy was radical about the gospel and active ministry. She never missed church meetings and services and stood shoulder to shoulder with her Husband to ensure the work prospered in their hands. She was an example to the leaders and workers and was one who her husband could count on.

She has deposited several aspects of herself into her brethren who will miss her but will continue the race. diligently.
