Tera was one of my absolute best friends. We met at Hope for women and her friendship changed my life. I’d never had a battle buddy quite like her. We would take turns praying at bedtime & she would go last because her prayers lasted so long she’d put us to sleep. She was a fierce warrior for God & God favored her. She & I spent many nights in tears worshipping Jesus, praying for our children and I’ve heard her cries for Jacob & Jonathan many times. She loved her boys more than anything! I worked with her mom Rita at Quality way back years ago and when she had a visit one Sunday she asked me to come meet her mother and low and behold it was just like we we’re family from then on. I talk to Tera through messenger the week before she passed away and I really wish I could’ve seen her before this happened. I know she is dancing with Jesus as she always talked about. Her favorite saying back then was, “I’ve tasted The Lord and He is good”! I love you Teda Mills (I called her that in a Spanish accent and she would cackle) She was a true person to whomever was in her life and she was a fighter! She never gave up easily! I’ll see you soon my sweet friend! We will take that Golden street walk as we talked about. Rest easy sweet girl!
