Most of the time I spent with Teresa was at my grandma Judy's house. I always seeked her out at the fourth of July parties to chitchat about what she had been up to. Most of her stories were about her wonderful children because she lived her life for them. Her calm demeanor and huge smile were comforting when I was an awkward, insecure, and anxious teenager. She easily made me relax and focus on our conversations. I will miss that. Its hard to imagine not talking to her again. I know she will live on in our memories and through her children. We shared a connection through her relationship with my stepmom and our shared workplace.
