Terrell Sanchase Blakely was born December 6, 1983 in Tuskegee, AL to the late Willie James Blakely, Sr. and Mary Jane Blakely. 

He grew up in the Highridge Community and received his education from Bullock County High School.

Terrell joined Pleasant Grove C.M.E. Church at an early age. He was a faithful employee at the City of Troy in Troy, AL.

Terrell was a down to earth person who never met a stranger. He had a passion for fishing, hunting and riding horses.

On Thursday morning, January 1, 2015, God called Terrell home to His kingdom. He was always so full of life. His loveable spirit will forever dwell in our hearts.

A celebration of life service was held for Mr. Blakely Saturday, January 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the sanctuary of Pleasant Grove C.M.E. Church with Rev. Shelia E. Crabb-Longshore, Pastor, officiating.

Words of comfort were delivered by Rev. Steven Monday, Pastor of Highridge Baptist Church and Beulah Baptist Church.

Interment followed in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving daughter, MaKayla Simone Blakely (Lady Bug),  Union Springs, AL; a devoted and caring mother, Mary Jane Blakely, Union Springs, AL; two sisters, Sharon (Henry) Blakely, Troy, AL and Tanya (Travis) McKinnon, Union Springs, AL; three brothers, Willie James Blakely, Jr., Union Springs, AL, Tony (Ieshia) Blakely, Los Angeles, CA and Quintin (Marshell) Blakely, Troy, AL; one God on, Mikael T. Calhoun; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-nieces, cousins and close friends, MaKayla’s mother, Pamela.
